This role is responsible to design, construct and deliver business applications and system solutions that interface with e-commerce platforms as well as other critical systems across our business.  This role will develop and manage API and other integrations between various platforms and develop and maintain supporting internal maintenance and reporting websites.



  1. Develop, modify and test new and existing programs.  This is primarily a programmer role, using C#, SQL and API technologies to develop and maintain applications.
  2. Analyze business needs and make recommendations in accordance with business objectives.  In addition to programming, this role works as an analyst to develop potential options and make recommendation on how to solve complex business problems.
  3. Act as liaison to business users/analysts.  This position interfaces with key business leaders and users across all of DaySpring.  Maintaining healthy relationships and good communication skills are required.
  4. Implement systems and provide necessary training/support.  On-call and after-hours support comes with the territory.
  5. Ensure that programs and systems are well-documented for internal purposes.  This position works with a team of other IT professionals, so good documentation is required.

  • Associate's degree or higher.
  • 3 or more years of experience using C# programming language with Visual Studio.
  • 1 or more years of SQL experience.



  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • Microsoft Dynamics. 
  • Experience in desktop applications (Winforms) using C# and VB.
  • Experience with designing and implementing backend integrations. 
  • Experience with front-end web development and building user-friendly websites.
  • Ability to work and coordinate with third parties. 
  • Experience with Web Services.
  • Strong technical experience with XML, XLS, and JSON.
  • Source control experience.
  • Automated testing.
  • DB2 database experience on IBM iSeries.
  • Willing to work outside of normal office hours (on-call to support critical systems).
  • SQL Server-Write/read complex SQL statements, tables, views, and stored procedures.
  • Rest API experience.
  • Collaborate well with other team members and ability to work independently. 
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot problems in a timely manner.
  • Adhere to standards including source control, testing, implementation, data security, and documenting programs/procedures and systems.
  • Understanding of and appreciation for the DaySpring mission
