DaySpring Business Strategy and Operations Manager

The general purpose of the Business Strategy and Operations Manager position is to direct and manage the daily business operations including systems, processes, inventory, promotions, compensation models, financials, analytics and field communications. Collaborates with internal teams across DaySpring, home office team and field leadership to ensure that current and future processes exceed or meet consumer and consultant needs. Creates reporting tools to communicate financial health of promotions and overall business. Owns communication strategy to the consultant field including multiple communication platforms. Monitors stock, sales and markdowns to ensure that financial plans are met and supports the long-term business unit plans.

 
RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Review and update company policies and business process, including consultant and leader agreements.
  2. Analyze data and information to identify business opportunities.
  3. Work closely with Sales & Training and Merchandise Manager to achieve outcomes based on company goals including consultant activation programs and consumer promotions.
  4. Recommend and update policies and procedures to improve overall business performance.
  5. Enhance workflow and cross functional engagements.
  6. Create weekly and monthly reports for team to monitor KPIs.
  7. Keep updated on industry and market trends.
  8. Working with Sales, Training, Operations, Product, Events, and Customer Service partners to identify goals and develop metrics and dashboards that help the team accomplish these goals.
  9. Owns the accuracy and visibility of the Home Party Department data and KPI’s along with the compensation payouts to the Mary & Martha Consultants. 
  10. Runs ad hoc analysis on the Home Party business as projects arise.
  11. Other reasonably related duties as assigned.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
You must have these to be considered for this role:

  1. Bachelor’s degree.
  2. 5 or more years of business operations experience.

 
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
You will stand out if you have these:

  • Home party business experience.
  • Strong attention to details. Broad knowledge of such fields as accounting, marketing, business administration, finance, etc.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize and reprioritize projects frequently.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Good interpersonal skills to work with different management levels
  • Exceptional written and verbal communications skills.
  • High proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), Outlook
