DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
The DaySpring Business Systems team provides strategic business systems analysis services to our business partners.  We work closely with our business partners to gain an in-depth understanding of their business strategies, systems and processes so that we can enable them with innovative, scalable and optimized IT solutions.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Consults with business partners to identify and document business needs and objectives.
  2. Provides technical assistance in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures.
  3. Provides detailed understanding of existing systems and their usage.  
  4. Develops new solutions or enhancements to existing systems.
  5. Consults and coordinates with business partners and IT personnel to develop, test and install systems.
  6. Work with other Business Systems Analysts to address cross-departmental opportunities.
  7. Other reasonably related duties as assigned

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
You must have these to be considered for this role:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • 2 or more years of systems analyst experience.

 
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
You will stand out if you have these:

  • Experience working as a liaison between IT and business partners.
  • Experience supporting a direct to consumer (B2C) and/or direct selling team.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other analytical tools.
  • Strong critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills.  Must be able to identify problems and/or cause-effect relationships, identify key stakeholders, identify possible root causes of problems, and suggest, develop, and implement solutions.
  • SQL experience with the ability to run and execute queries against enterprise data to answer business questions.
  • Excellent listening and interpretation skills that allow you to conduct insightful interviews and translate into requirements for solid solutions.
  • Strong organizational skills, task prioritization and project management.
  • Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of business partners (senior stakeholders and non-technical business partners)
  • Ability to work and coordinate with third party consultants and vendors. 
  • Strong teamwork and self-motivated.
  • Understanding of and appreciation for the DaySpring mission
