DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
The Ecommerce team, part of the Corporate Marketing Team, is responsible for the direct to consumer and wholesale sales of all Ecommerce activities for the DaySpring brand including the brand website, marketplaces such as Amazon.com and Walmart.com, and various digital marketing initiatives.  The marketing team within Ecommerce is responsible for all traffic driving programs, campaign management and digital influencer outreach to deliver relevant product, content and resources to help consumers live their faith. Making data-driven decisions and working in a fast-paced work environment make Ecommerce a challenging yet dynamic area within DaySpring to grow both professionally and personally in this digital age.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES
The Consumer Engagement Specialist will work across teams to execute digital marketing campaigns for DaySpring.com. This critical role will work directly with the Consumer Engagement Team, Merchandising Team, Site Management Team and Corporate Marketing Team to execute and deliver relevant & personalized promotional activities across marketing channels. A successful candidate will have some digital marketing experience, have a collaborative posture, be able to critically analyze data and provide data-driven solutions for consumer engagement.

 

  1. Lead in planning, implementing and executing relevant, personalized campaigns and promotions to achieve sales targets for DaySpring.com 40% job / daily
  2. Monitor performance of digital marketing programs, pulling consumer data to develop segmentation strategies across channels 25% / daily
  3. Provide data-driven recommendations, feedback, and suggestions based on the performance of the marketing programs to help achieve consumer engagement goals 15% / daily
  4. Develop reports to show consumer engagement performance, website analytics and marketing channel performance 10% / weekly
  5. Support key initiatives for each organization (DaySpring, (in)courage and Mary & Martha), bringing a "One DaySpring" message to our consumers 10% / weekly
  6. Other reasonably related duties as assigned

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS 
You must have these to be considered for this role:

  1. Bachelor’s degree
  2. 2 years or more of digital marketing or marketing experience and/or training

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

You will stand out if you have these:

  • Experience in copywriting – especially consumer-facing marketing copy.
  • Experience in digital paid advertising.
  • Strong (verbal and written) communication skills, with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to collaborate across teams and work on tasks individually in a remote environment as well as in the office.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Management or related field
  • Proficiency in completing tasks in a timely, efficient, and excellent manner.  
  • Experience in aggregating data and packaging up to inform team and leaders of performance.
  • Adept in the use of Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
  • Excellent presentation skills, creative problem solver and strategic thinker, organized, team player, self-motivated and leading-edge.
  • Can multi task, be a self-starter, comfortable with some ambiguity.
  • Personable attitude towards internal customers.
  • An understanding of and an appreciation for the DaySpring Mission.
