DaySpring Direct Selling Marketing Specialist

The corporate marketing department at DaySpring is a fast moving team focused on the brand, our mission and the consumer.  We engage across the company and while we specialize we must have a generalist mindset-understanding our customer. Our customer may be internal (sales, ecommerce, Mary & Martha, product teams, editorial, fulfillment…) or external (customers, consumers, influencers, celebrities, authors…). This team is highly relational, scrappy and has a make things happen kind of attitude. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Own the creation and publication of all marketing plans and materials from strategy, communication plan and design. This duty is performed daily, about 30% of the time.
  2. Design, write, and edit a wide range of marketing communications including, but not limited to: Consultant-facing materials, website, sales collateral, support materials, newsletters, events, catalog, etc. Work closely with internal teams to establish tone of voice and appropriate writing styles.  This duty is performed daily, about 30% of the time.
  3. Help improve the Brand style guide and own how it is used throughout all of our business. Manage the creative direction of our Brand. This duty is performed daily, about 10% of the time.
  4. Work alongside internal partners to develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy focus on high quality content that engages and grows our social media presence. Engage with customers and consultants through the use of social media. This duty is performed daily, about 10% of the time.
  5. Manage corporate website by working alongside internal partners to enhance positive customer experience and site traffic via various marketing methods. This duty is performed weekly, about 10% of the time.
  6. Help develop video and photography content to perpetuate the Mary & Martha brand. T This duty is performed monthly, about 10% of the time.
  7. Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

 

REQUIREMENTS

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Bachelor's degree
  2. 1 or more years of experience in marketing

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in the Direct Selling Industry
  • Proficiency in Microsoft business suite: word, powerpoint, outlook, excel
  • Strong writing skills
  • Organized approach to work-project management
  • Quick learner
  • Understanding of and appreciation for the DaySpring mission
