DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
The purpose of the Supply Chain Organization is to create a competitive advantage for DaySpring through purchasing, planning and distributing products and services which provide a lasting value to our customers. RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide leadership and vision for the Order Fulfillment team. Responsible for all areas of Order Fulfillment including warehouse, order pulling, and handwork. Accountable for achieving all performance objectives within Order Fulfillment relating to employee engagement, service levels, quality, and cost.

 

  1. Set vision, overall direction, and tactical plans for the Order Fulfillment team.  
  2. Develop, improve, and monitor all systems, processes, and policies in Order Fulfillment.  Act as a systems integrator within the rest of DaySpring
  3. Aggressively initiate, lead, and implement critical continuous improvement projects to drive productivity, lower costs, and deliver on business requirements.  
  4. Lead and serve on cross functional teams to help deliver overall business results with emphasis on delivering the unified customer experience and cost improvements.
  5. Develop and grow leaders within the Order Fulfillment team, ensuring seamless leadership transitions during organizational change.
  6. Other reasonably related duties as assigned

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

You must have these to be considered for this role 

  1. Bachelor’s Degree
  2. Five or more years of experience in supply chain/logistics 

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

You will stand out if you have these

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering or Statistics
  • APICS, CSCP, and/or CLTD certification
  • Ability to analyze data, but also communicate effectively to bridge with their channel partners. 
  • Ability to understand the big picture, but able to work on the small details that roll up to create and support that picture.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Understanding of and appreciation for DaySpring mission
