RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee performance management for the company. Develop and improve tools for managers & employees that enhance coaching, feedback, and the overall review process. Help develop and manage the on-line tool kit to provide a user friendly effective experience. This duty is performed weekly, about 15% of the time. Oversee
  • Lead talent development activities for leaders and employees. Develop and present companywide training and growth programs to build skills and enhance our culture. This duty is performed daily, about 20% of the time.
  • Identify and use best practices in people assessment and development. Become certified with Strength Finders and continue incorporating these tools into how people interact and work more effectively with each other. This duty is performed weekly, about 20% of the time.
  • Create and direct employee events and key culture invigoration events/programs. Help build and enhance a culture of excellence, fun, including both spiritual and professional growth for our people. Oversee the Employee Events Team. Create/sustain regular cadence of employee culture building employee relations events/activities. This duty is performed weekly, about 20% of the time.
  • Lead out on succession planning process to develop a plan for longer term growth of our leaders and overall talent. This duty is performed weekly, about 15% of the time.
  • Facilitate the 9 Box process ensuring that all high-potential staff have specific plans in place for their growth. This duty is performed weekly, about 10% of the time
  • Perform any other related duties as required or assigned

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
You must have these to be considered for this role:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • 5 or more years of experience in HR leadership

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master’s degree in business
  • Interpersonal skills to effectively manage, interact, negotiate, and communicate with employees.
  • Grit and perseverance to lead the HR team and oversee all organization’s operations.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills that ensure successful human resources management.
  • Time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize accordingly.
  • The ability to counsel, motivate, and guide HR staff and managers of other departments to accomplish an organization's goals and objectives.
  • Know-how of HRMS (Human Resource Management System) and/or HRIS (Human Resource Information System) software.
  • Strong budgeting skills to efficiently manage HR finances and resources.
  • Knowledge of local and federal employment laws and regulations.
  • Flexibility in order to improve and adapt to the needs and demands of the organization.
  • Training and development skills to attract, retain, and maximize employee performance.
  • An understanding of and an appreciation for the DaySpring mission.
