DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Supply Chain Resources Manager is responsible for defining, developing and executing comprehensive and integrated demand planning and inventory management strategies to deliver profitable revenue growth for DaySpring.

 

  1. Determines, leads, and oversees enterprise-level inventory and demand planning processes (50%).
  2. Directs and oversees the evaluation of forecast inputs, measures and reports on forecast accuracy and seeks ways to continuously improve; directs demand and supply planning activities (20%). 
  3. Directs inventory strategies, policies and segmentation methodologies; oversees and ensures that individual finished goods procurement decisions are made in accordance with inventory policies (including asset management, serviceability, segments, lot size, etc.) (20%).
  4. Accountable for asset management and ensuring inventory levels are aligned to execute and deliver upon the required levels of serviceability (10%).
  5. Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

 

The Supply Chain Resource Manager supervises five individuals.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Bachelor’s Degree 
  2. 5 years of supply chain or program management work experience in business/industry
  3. 2 years of management experience

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain/Logistics or similar relevant field
  • CSCP Supply Chain Professional Certification
  • Demonstrated project management skills
  • Hands on experience with supply chain management software (such as SAP MM, AP Modules, SAP Plant Maintenance, etc.)
  • Knowledge and experience with social compliance management process
  • Proven team leadership skills
  • Strong analytical and problem solving ability
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Understanding of and appreciation for DaySpring mission
