DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
The Strategic Marketing Team champions the Brand, Mission and Consumer across the entire organization for DaySpring.  We lead with consumer insights, brand engagement and mission focus. We support key initiatives for each organization, while bringing a holistic approach to form “One DaySpring” to our consumer and partners.

 

POSITION OVERVIEW
DaySpring is seeking a sharp, strategically minded Ecommerce Merchandising Manager to oversee our ecommerce merchandising, content, and operations. You will be a key stakeholder in our customers’ site experience, planning site initiatives and reporting on ecommerce metrics. We will count on you to react in real time to business trends and make recommendations for future assortment and functionality decisions. 

You’ll also help champion these core disciplines on our corporate path to digital transformation, becoming an in-house expert in the customer journey and supporting our digital growth strategy. This is a highly analytical and cross-functional role that is perfect for someone who’s ready to make an impact and drive innovation in DaySpring' s online shopping experience. 
  
RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Merchandising and Ecom Operations strategies: make online transactions possible 
  2. Perform ongoing data analysis to impact merchandising, site functionality, product assortment/forecasting, marketing 
  3. Collaborate with marketing, ensuring that merchandise plans support key strategic initiatives, launches, top sellers, seasonal campaigns, and trends 
  4. Achieve operational excellence through ecommerce team leadership and cross-functional partnership - fulfillment, order mgt, warehouse, demand planning/procurement, finance, tech, and design 
  5. Partner with design and tech teams to deliver iterative UX enhancements and issue resolution 
  6. Support Ecom marketplace + wholesale efforts through product detail coordination, marketing collaboration and product merchandising scheduling 
  7. With Customer Care, fuel effective response to issues and ideas with solutions and communication of, adjustments to plans 
  8. Train and develop a strong team that thrives in an ever-changing and challenging ecommerce environment
  9. Other reasonable duties as assigned.

BASIC QUALLIFICATIONS
You must meet the following to be considered for this role:

  • 3 or more years of experience in site merchandising or ecommerce for retail or consumer products brand 
  • Bachelor’s degree

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate will be:

  • Strategic, an analytical thinker; passionate about consumer behavior, experience, data, and insights toward problem solving 
  • Operationally minded 
  • Cross-functional team mgt and project mgt oriented 
  • A Clear communicator - writing, and in person 
  • Aware of, and enthusiastic for the DaySpring mission
