The Design Intern will primarily support the Mary & Martha product area in the following ways:

  1. Create and design flyers, social media posts, websit, email, printed materials and more.
  2. Work with vendors and freelancers to help create items.
  3. Work on other sales and marketing materials as needed..

A portfolio is required. Your portfolio should be compiled into one PDF or Microsoft Word document that is no larger than 10 MB. You can submit a link to a personal portfolio website in addition to your uploaded portfolio file.



The following is required to be considered for this role:

  • Must currently be enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master’s degree program with a graduation date of 2019, 2020, or 2021 (priority given to candidates with sooner graduation dates)



Your resume and portfolio will stand out if you have:

  • Graphic Design studies and background
  • Proficiency and experience with Photoshop and InDesign (Premiere Pro and After Effects would be a bonus) 
  • Experience in Brand Identity
  • Can multi task, be a self-starter, comfortable with some ambiguity
  • Personable attitude towards internal customers
  • Understanding of and appreciation for the DaySpring mission

This is a part-time (20-30 hours/week) paid internship ($10/hour) that runs for the Fall 2019 semester. Subject to budget, there is a possibility of an extension into the Spring 2020 semester.
