The Strategic Marketing Team champions the Brand, Mission and Consumer across the entire organization for DaySpring.  We lead with consumer insights, brand engagement and mission focus.  We support key initiatives for each organization, while bringing a holistic approach to form “One DaySpring” to our consumer and partners.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

The primary purpose of the Social Media Specialist is to manage the social media day-to-day activities of content publishing and consumer engagement for marketing campaigns and in support of business objects and social metrics for DaySpring, (in)courage, and Mary & Martha.. The primary social media channels of focus are Facebook and Instagram, with additional activity in Twitter and Pinterest.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

You must have this to be considered for this role:

  1. Bachelor's degree
  2. 2 years of experience in business social media management

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Your resume will stand out if you have these:

  • Degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field
  • Technical proficiency to navigate all social media tools
  • Familiarity with primary brands and organizations in the Christian business and ministry industry
  • An entrepreneurial spirit!
  • Excellent communication skills: written, oral and active listening
  • Knack for attention to detail
  • Understanding of audience and a dedicated focus for the consumer
  • Tenacity to persevere through setbacks and difficulties and still deliver great solutions to the customer
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and the flexibility to “roll with” a reasonable level of ambiguity
  • Understanding and appreciation for the DaySpring mission
