Hallmark Digital (Team HD) drives consumer experience, sales, merchandising, marketing and operations for Hallmark.com.

 

ABOUT THE POSITION

The Digital Product Manager leads cross-functional product teams comprised of user experience designers, software developers, technical architects, quality assurance engineers and business stakeholders - who collectively solve the most important consumer and business problems on the website. Responsibilities include:

  • Digital Product Strategy Development
    • Develop the product strategy for their area of the Hallmark.com product portfolio that guides the team's choices and decisions for opportunities or issues to solve.
    • Gather and activate insights based on consumer needs garnered through user research/testing and marketplace/competitive information or third party research sources.
    • Develop the product road map and plans to ensure the team is on track to meet its stated goals within defined timeline.
    • Actively use data and feedback mechanisms that factor into decisions on product squad  priority-builds and determine measurement of outcomes.
    • Work proactively with key business stakeholders and partners across Hallmark to elicit their key input/expertise so the products the team builds are valid and relevant to the overall business.
  • Digital Product Strategy Delivery
    • Uses a systematic and data-driven prioritization approach that clarifies team priorities and is enables quick, tough calls through consulting/present options and opportunities to senior  mgt.
    • Writes and clearly communicates the user stories and requirements based on agreed upon style/format/delivery that drive clarity of product features for the engineering teams.
    • Responsible for successful implementation in collaboration with delivery manager (scrum master) to ensure the product tam delivers on its commitments for each sprint.
  • Digital Product Performance Management
    • Develops and communicates KPIs to measure product performance in collaboration with the product team.
    • Leads results monitoring (e.g. pre-launch measurement needs and post-launch actions) in partnership with squad leads and analytics team.
    • Follows a regular cadence and convention to communicate outcomes with the management and organization.

 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

The following is required to be considered for this role:

  • Bachelor's Degree or 4 years of professional work experience
  • 3 years of product management experience delivering software or digital products to markets including websites, mobile applications and omnichannel capabilities
  • Minimum 1 year of experience leading agile product teams  
  • Minimum 1 year of experience defining market and product requirements for digital products

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Your resume and portfolio/application will stand out if you have:

  • Demonstrated ability to use data and metrics to justify requirements, build business cases and measure digital product performance
  • 5+ years product management or equivalent experience delivering software or digital products to market
  • MBA or advanced degree
  • Retail industry e-commerce experience
  • Experienced negotiator adept at influencing stakeholders and senior executives. experience
  • Experience using and managing cloud-based collaboration and project management tools including Atlassian suite (JIRA and Confluence
