Hallmark’s Information Security Department is responsible for the security of all digital assets belonging to Hallmark and its subsidiaries. It is a group of skilled individuals who provide leadership in security to the entire enterprise.



Hallmark's SAP Security team is responsible for ensuring that SAP systems within the Hallmark enterprise are adequately protected. This includes working with the business to define and implement appropriate roles, identify risks and develop mitigating controls, and monitor for segregation of duties violations.



  • Perform analysis on, and maintain, security requirements dealing with application authorization, ID provisioning and ID management on ABAP and Java stacks to minimize access control issues and segregation of duty (SOD) concerns
  • Follow established procedures for implementing security changes across Hallmark’s SAP landscape
  • Configure and manage SAP Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) Access Control
  • Configure and manage SAP Access Violation Management by Greenlight
  • Ensure that the SAP systems are in compliance with all Hallmark security policies
  • Monitor all aspects of SAP for security violations
  • Respond to incidents opened to the SAP Security Administration Team
  • On-call assignments to support 24 x 7 x 365 operations

The following is required to be considered for this role:

  • Bachelor’s degree OR 4+ years of professional IT experience
  • 2+ years of experience working in SAP ABAP or Java systems  



Your resume will stand out if you have:

  • Experience working with business users in defining and reviewing business process security
  • Experience in SAP security design and user provisioning
  • Substantial experience in designing and implementing roles within SAP, preferably using role based security controls
  • Substantial experience with S4/HANA
  • Experience working with SAP Access Control
  • Experience working with SAP Access Violation Management by Greenlight
  • Experience with core business processes including: Purchase-To-Pay, Demand Planning, and Financial Close business process scenarios
  • Experience performing internal control reviews and risk assessments for customers running SAP
  • Experience with Identity and Access Management products and technologies
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new technical skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience providing dashboards and other analytical information concerning standard SAP Security metrics
  • Self-motivated team player
  • Ability to effectively prioritize tasks in a high pressure environment
  • Analytical organizational and communication skills
  • Industry certifications showing a high level of SAP Security knowledge
  • Ability to relocate to the Kansas City, MO area - relocation assistance can be provided
