Territory Manager (TM) – Southwest Region


The Southwest Region is part of the Mass Service Operations (MSO) team. We are responsible for driving strategic alignment, store level relationships, store level retail execution and revenue growth with Hallmark's major retail customers. Some of our key chain customers include Walmart, Walgreens, CVS, Publix, Kroger, Kohl's and Dollar Tree to name a few.

The Territory Manager (TM) directs the retail execution of Hallmark service activities across all mass customer banners for approximately 150 accounts located on The Hawaiian Islands.

  • Responsible for achieving all scorecard measurements which include revenue growth, service compliance and the successful management of service budgets.
  • Lead a team of part-time service employees; approximately 5 direct reports (Territory Supervisors / Territory Trainer) and approximately 40 indirect store level Retail Merchandisers to ensure service execution of all products and programs.
  • Hiring, training, legal compliance, assessing and managing performance, conducting and delivering performance reviews, developing talent, and recognizing, and rewarding strong contributors.
  • Maintains current and develops new store level relationships through interaction with store management, district management and other chain management as appropriate.
  • Reviewing and selling placement of key programs that will be located outside of the Hallmark greeting card department in certain chains.

The following is required to be considered for this role:

  • High School Diploma, GED, equivalent or higher.
  • 1+ years Mass Channel, drug store, food store, consumer product goods (CPG) vendor or retail experience
  • Professional experience using Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Cannot have three or more driving-related violations in a 3 year period, or a record of any driving-related violations or offense involving drugs or alcohol within the last five years.

  • 3+ years Mass Channel, drug store, food store, consumer product goods (CPG) vendor or retail experience
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Ability to work independently
  • Leadership & people management skills: ability to direct, manage and motivate a part-time Service team
  • Organizational & time management skills: ability to multi-task and manage multiple, changing priorities
  • Communication skills: ability to communicate effectively (written & verbal)
  • Customer relationship building skills: ability to develop current and new customer relationships
  • Preference will be given to candidates currently living in the market
