We play a leadership role in identifying, developing and managing technology and process solutions; we pro-actively partner with business areas to develop new capabilities, build reliable solutions and efficiently manage the corporation’s investment in technology and end-to-end processes.



This role will establish and maintain Hallmark’s Corporate IT General Controls environment, act as the Information Technology lead for all IT and Information Security audits and lead complex, multi-disciplinary audits. This role will plan requirements with internal customers and usher audits through the entire audit lifecycle, including helping to scope the audit, identifying risks and clearly establishing IT expectations to stakeholders.


This role will drive compliance with Hallmark’s Internal Audit and Information Security policies and ensure Corporate IT is appropriately aligned. Additionally, this role will create programs to assess training needs, develop training materials, and ensure all ITGC stakeholders are sufficiently trained on internal control requirements, design, and management, while being accountable for the ITGC program, working closely with the internal audit team to facilitate cross-functional coordination to successfully deliver on the annual IA audit plan.



  • Establish and maintain an IT General Controls library
  • Ensure all IT audit observations Defense 2 program
  • Create Line of Defense 2 programs for IT General Controls to identify, assign, and monitor key risks and mitigation strategies in partnership with IT leadership and Internal Audit.
  • Define metrics to track remediation progress and maturity of IT General Controls Design processes which can be used to collect, process, and report on those metrics.
  • Establish relationships with key technical and functional stakeholders within Hallmark, and leverage cross-functional coordination skills to drive IT remediation efforts.
  • Plan and manage engagements with Internal Audit and Information Security in order to provide robust assurance of the operational effectiveness of our IT General Controls.
  • Create programs to assess training needs, develop training materials and ensure all stakeholders are sufficiently training on requirements.

The following is required to be considered for this role:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four year's of professional work experience.
  • 8 years experience in internal auditing, information security or information technology
