POSITION DESCRIPTION:

At Halls Kansas City, the CRM Database Analyst plays a pivotal role in all targeted marketing efforts of the company. This position is responsible for maintaining and managing Halls’ customer database files through Epicor Customer Relationship Management software. The incumbent will work with the data to ensure its accuracy and integrity and will hold responsibility for coordinating all targeted marketing mailings.

The CRM Database Analyst position will:

Utilize CRM database daily check for store errors and perform operations to clear errors.

  • Run rejected transaction process in CRM database and prepare daily file.
  • Check status waiting and processing items to ensure that all processes are current and document daily results in print log.
  • Generate services requests with Epicor to report unresolved issues.
  • Prepare for daily system log-off through checks of aborted or suspended processes to ensure system integrity.
  • Prepare CRM database for periodic e-mail launch in conjunction with external e-mail vendor.
  • Prepare CRM database for quarterly NCOA imports and exports necessary to automate changes of address with NCOA vendor.
  • Perform data analysis via selection of precise syntax to arrive at targeted marketing lists for direct mail pieces, call lists, and e-mail distribution.
  • Update customer records using CRM update cards received from store personnel.
  • Research problem transactions and discrepancies using various tools in CRM, Web EJ, and Web IM.
  • Review customer capture procedures with store personnel as needed.
  • Create promotion or database analysis reports to track promo results and generate reports.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • One year of computer and database experience
  • Basic Microsoft Excel skills

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Advance database analysis skills
  • Very organized and detail oriented
  • Ability to communicate at a highly technical level
  • CRM database experience
  • Self-starter with ability to work with little direction

 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

  • This is a 1st shift part-time position working approximately 24 -25 hours a week, Monday – Friday. Must be flexible to work additional hours, as needed.  
  • Relocation will not be provided.
