Hallmark Digital is a driving force behind the creation and delivery of digital solutions to Hallmark’s consumers. It is a fast-paced, cutting-edge environment within Hallmark and requires a can-do, flexible attitude. Digital Hallmarkers get to wear many hats and have the opportunity to engage with new and innovative technology, as well as help shape consumer digital experiences that delight our consumers.

 

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

The Digital Catalog and Merchandising Manager is responsible for leading and managing teams that develop both strategic and tactical product category and merchandising plans for Hallmark.com that are informed by digital best practices and Hallmark.com goals, as well as upstream product team goals and insights. This role manages teams that are responsible for making products come alive on Hallmark.com and other key digital touchpoints. Their work includes deep engagement with up stream partner product teams, management of product imagery and product attribute data process and flow, pricing, website taxonomy, predictive recommendations/intelligence, catalog management, and engaging with partner teams on site experience (photography and editorial teams, inventory & seamless retail management, UX, marketing, digital product squads and technology).

 

Ultimately, this role leads teams that build initiatives, tactics, sales targets/forecasts, and execution plans for categories that drive business growth across Hallmark.com’s product portfolio to meet the financial objectives of Hallmark Digital. These plans are guided by product business unit priorities, digital best practices, digital analytics, resource considerations and voice of the customer.

 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS 

The following is required to be considered for this role: 

  • Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of professional work experience
  • CPG-Retail or Omnichannel business industry experience
  • Minimum of 7 years of work experience work in the digital or product management business space.
  • Minimum of 3 years of work experience setting strategic plans/direction, managing executional outcomes and driving strong business results 
  • Experience leading and managing teams

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 

Your resume and portfolio/application will stand out if you have: 

  • Experience with eCommerce technologies & best practices in multiple areas: eCommerce platforms, product catalog, A/B testing, merchandising and web analytic tools, predictive intelligence, SEO and User -experience
  • Experience in Digital business case development and P&L Management
  • Demonstration of analytic and business acumen
  • Proven communication and matrix management skills
  • Effective partnering, collaboration and relationship management skills
