OVERVIEW:

We are looking for a data-driven, detail-oriented, collaborative, and energetic team player to join Hallmark Digital.

Hallmark Digital is one of the driving forces behind the creation and delivery of innovative solutions and experiences to Hallmark’s consumers. We are a team dedicated to optimizing sales, merchandising, marketing, and operations for Hallmark.com. Hallmark Digital includes almost all consumer digital touch points – eCommerce, search, mobile, social, etc. We are a fast-paced, energetic, collaborative group for Hallmark, and have the opportunity to work on many rewarding projects. THE DIGITAL CONTENT SPECIALIST IS RESPONSIBLE FOR:

We are looking for a detail-oriented, versatile team player to help transform the customer experience on Hallmark.com, a website with a high profile and tremendous exposure. As part of the Hallmark Digital Marketing team, the Digital Content Specialist will take the lead on running our content publishing workflow, as well as provide analytics and web strategy/operations support as assigned. The ideal candidate is passionate about website marketing, continuous learning and improvement, and, most importantly, organization. IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:

  • Maintain the content calendar / workflow for all marketing on Hallmark.com – establishing launch dates, and providing clear direction to creative partners and content publishers based on inputs from the Digital Content Strategist and overarching brand, seasonal strategies
  • Concept and coordinate direction for key content placements across the site in partnership with eBusiness, marketing and merchandising team members
  • Serve as primary validator for all site content links, tracking and scheduling prior to being published to the live site
  • Manage dashboards and report on data insights for site content including homepage features, seasonal landing pages and A/B tests
  • Assume other duties as assigned, such as: working within our Content Management Systems as a backup content publisher; offering data analytics and linking strategy support to social, PR and advertising partners; performing site content audits and providing recommendations for optimizations; and implementing SEO best practices.

 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

The following is required to be considered for this role:

  • Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of professional work experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working in eCommerce, digital marketing or merchandising
  • Experience working within a project management tool such as Jira / Confluence

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Background in Content Management Systems (CMS); Contentful or Salesforce Commerce Cloud experience a plus
  • Familiarity with data analytics platforms such as Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics or ContentSquare
  • Forward-thinking, reliable and adaptable – ability to problem solve on-the-fly and work under pressure while maintaining close attention to detail
  • Stellar communication and interpersonal skills, including proficiency in English grammar, spelling and punctuation
  • Comfort with ambiguity and juggling multiple projects and timelines at once

 

ADDITIONAL DETAILS:

This role is full-time remote through the end of 2021 and will have a flexible working arrangement thereafter.
