OVERVIEW:

Hallmark Global Technology supports our B2B (business-to-business) portfolio, supporting customers doing business with Hallmark. Our vision is to deliver a user experience that provides access, tools, & resources to run an effective & profitable business.

 

THE DIGITAL PRODUCT OWNER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR:

This digitally savvy person is the subject matter expert for their assigned digital products – ensuring superior digital experiences and serving a critical role of bridging the gap between business users and agile development teams. This position works closely with the agile team to write user stories, manage the product backlog, perform release planning and escalate issues as necessary.  They must have an excellent understanding of the business needs that they represent, the technology on which they’re building and ensure a great end-user experience.

 

In addition to managing a well-groomed backlog, they will collaborate with agile teams to oversee day-to-day user support and satisfaction of their products. They will be the main point-of-contact to proactively communicate back with business partners on new enhancements, research and respond to questions and ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner.

 

Candidates must have strong communication and facilitation skills, with a proven record of leading complex projects with multiple business partners. They must exhibit corporate & interpersonal savvy and confidence leading technical projects under tight budgets and timelines.

 Responsibilities Includes:

  • Create, and groom a backlog of well-formed stories for implementation, collaborate with business and agile teams to prioritize the work to be delivered and work with team on product execution.
  • Responsible for delivering high quality products and testing as appropriate, including user-acceptance testing, unit testing and regression testing as necessary.
  • Develop and communicate a solid understanding of end-users, the marketplace, competition and future trends of digital platforms and channels.
  • Ensure break-fix tickets and day-to-day business partner inquiries are prioritized appropriately and answered in a timely fashion.
  • Manage day-to-day communications with end-business users and report progress of issue resolution and project status via agile ceremonies (business planning and/or backlog grooming).
  • Collaborate with manager to manage external technology partner relationships – reviewing/approving scopes of work, requirements documentation, manage assigned budgets and invoices as necessary.

 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

The following is required to be considered for this role:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or 4 years professional work experience.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in product management, website management experience, digital account management experience and/or other related experience with technology platforms.
  • Experience with agile development methodology.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3 years of digital agency account management.
  • Familiarity with application testing, debugging and analysis of issues.
  • Familiarity with Usability Design (best practices, consumer journey flows, wireframes, etc.).
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and a high volume of initiatives at one time. Proactively prioritize the work and manage expectations.
  • Curious and self-starter.
  • Client-service mentality.
