Corporate Accounting and Reporting is primarily responsible for the monthly close and consolidation of Hallmark Cards, Inc. financial systems, monthly internal financial reporting to executives and the board of directors as well as the annual audited consolidated financial statements.  Corporate Accounting and Reporting strives to be a center of excellence within the finance division of Hallmark. The department maintains Hallmark's financial internal control framework, including accounting policies and procedures, prepares and maintains the fully consolidated annual plan and forecasts, prepares and reviews periodic account reconciliations, is responsible for certain corporate entities' accounting functions, assists corporate treasury with periodic external reporting requirements, and provides various financial reporting and analysis for corporate finance, treasury, tax and other business areas as requested.


The Financial Analyst - Corporate Accounting and Reporting  position is responsible for working with the Hallmark businesses to ensure their accounting records are maintained in accordance with GAAP and Hallmark accounting policies. Duties include journal entry preparation, account reconciliation, general ledger processing, month-end Hyperion processing (HFM, FDM & DRM) and consolidation and external audit support.


The analyst will also provide financial analysis, reporting, quarterly debt covenant certification and other business support as needed.   • Bachelors degree
  • At least 2+ years of experience in Accounting, Reporting or Public Accounting



  • Bachelor or Masters degree in Accounting
  • CPA
  • SAP and Hyperion experience
  • Blackline experience
  • Highly effective communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite software
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Strong analytical skills
