ABOUT THE TEAM:

Finance supports the Hallmark Global business in the areas of management reporting, financial analysis, decision support, planning and forecasting.  The incumbent can expect to gain a broad range of experience and exposure in the holistic financial planning and forecasting processes and will actively influence decisions across various aspects of the Hallmark Global business.

 

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:
The Global Solutions team is responsible for export and licensing business related to customers across the globe, outside of our domestic and international subsidiaries.  This Financial Analyst position supports the business through financial planning, forecasting and reporting of the P&L and balance sheet, as well as financial modeling for new programs and customers as needed by the business.  The analyst will work primarily with the Global Solutions leadership team and the FP&A Manager to ensure business needs are covered and the financial plans and forecasts are accurately represented. This analyst role also includes the financial support and oversight of various nonproduct cost centers and budget spending within the Hallmark Global business.

 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

The following is required to be considered for this role:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or Economics
  • Experience using Excel

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Your resume and application will stand out if you have:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and influence partners
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Knowledge of and ability to navigate SAP and Hyperion Essbase
  • Ability to summarize detailed data into a readable format
  • 2-5 years of experience in a finance or accounting role
  • Working knowledge of Hallmark's various products & customers

This is a progressive role that will be filled at the level based on the skills and experience of the selected candidate. This is a hybrid role, with a mix of both on-site and work-from-home time. The role is based in Hallmark’s headquarters in Kansas City, MO.
