The Hallmark recruiting team is responsible for the hiring and placement of exceptional talent for Hallmark Cards, both internally and externally. It is our goal to deliver the right talent for the right roles to meet business results and achieve corporate goals. This is a high volume and fast paced environment focused on superior client and candidate experience.



In partnership with our IT leaders and HR manager, the Hallmark Digital / IT technical recruiter will be responsible for defining and executing the recruiting strategy for a variety of key roles. As part of the HR team, you will partner closely with Hallmark's technology leaders to identify and attract the best  talent to the organization. 

  • You will be responsible for building the recruiting strategies for all levels of talent within the IT organization using a combination of recruiting techniques to build and engage networks, assess, and hire top talent
  • Partner with leaders to determine future talent needs to establish and drive sourcing strategies; this requires extensive research, deep understanding of the market, and knowledge of where to source and build a diverse talent pipeline.
  • Partner closely with hiring managers throughout recruitment cycle from identification, assessment, and offer providing exceptional candidate and hiring manager experiences.


This role will not afford relocation  - but CAN be done on a remote basis.

The following is required to be considered for this role:

  • Bachelor’s degree OR 4 years professional work experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of HR experience 
  • Minimum  of 3 years of Recruiting experience



Your resume and portfolio will stand out if you have:

  • 3 or more years of recruiting experience focused on technical recruiting 
  • Experience recruiting for IT/Technical talent and/or digital/.com / eCommerce talent is strongly preferred
  • Proven experience leveraging research and data to develop recruiting strategies for current needs and future talent
  • Strong consultative recruiting experience & highly effective interpersonal skills with ability to work across various audiences across all levels, including C-level
  • Strong sense of urgency, with proven ability to act swiftly under pressure and adapt to changing priorities and processes
  • High work capacity, results orientation and strong sense of urgency are required to work in a fast-paced, client service environment
  • Demonstrated understanding of or experience in diversity outreach and developing/delivering targeted or diverse talent recruiting strategies 
  • Current involvement and leadership with Technology or related organizations
  • Experience working in and with Applicant Tracking systems 
  • Demonstrated knowledge/use of current and emerging talent acquisition best practices and tools 
  • A high degree of business acumen and critical thinking ability to quickly understand and represent job requirements 
  • A high degree of resourcefulness, persistence and personal resilience are required to find and engage top talent

This position is located in Hallmark’s corporate offices in Kansas City, MO. Relocation will not be provided.
