The Kaleidoscope Staff Assistant welcomes guests to Kaleidoscope and the Hallmark Visitors Center and graciously interacts with the public while monitoring their use of the exhibits to assure safe and proper use. When working with the public face-to-face, it is essential to make quick, appropriate decisions. Ambassadors are frequently called upon to handle difficult situations in a calm and caring manner as children and adults must be treated with respect and dignity. Ambassadors must also maintain and enhance visitors' understanding and appreciation for Hallmark Cards and respond accurately to corporate and tourism-related questions. Kaleidoscope and the Hallmark Visitors Center enhance Hallmark's reputation by serving as evidence of the corporation's emphasis on on creativity, support of family, standard of excellence and good customer service.

The incumbent must demonstrate outstanding skills in all guest interactions with ultimate regard for Hallmark's high standard of ethics, caring and penchant for safety while affirming its beliefs and values. This employee will: Give a 2-3 minute informational welcome to groups and individuals Maintain superior guest relations which may include providing assistance as needed and kindly answering repetitive questions Manage general exhibit maintenance Restock supplies Maintain adequate materials for guests use Clean tables, exhibit structures Communicate information in a professional manner using both verbal and written skills. *This a part-time position requiring 1-2 days of six-hour shifts per week and a minimum of one Saturday per month.




  • The following is required to be considered for this role: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to lift or move up to 25 lbs
