The Hallmark Visitors Center is located in Crown Center and attracts more than 150,000 visitors annually, including consumers, employees, political leaders, and international dignitaries. The Visitor's Center is an extension of the Hallmark brand and showcases Hallmark's history and products using presentations, creative displays, exhibits, and fun activities to help guests learn more about the company.

The Visitors Center Ambassador welcomes guests to the Hallmark Visitors Center. An advocate for the Hallmark brand, they are friendly and polite with the ability to find answers quickly and provide good customer service to guests. This role interacts face-to-face with the public while monitoring guests to assure safe and proper use of the facility. They will greet guests, answer visitor's questions, and resolve visitor complaints and disputes in a caring matter. The Visitors Center Ambassador takes pride in treating all children and adults with respect and dignity.


The Visitors Center Ambassador will become an expert on Hallmark, its products, and it's history. Some of the job responsibilities include:

  • Greet and interact with vistors and guests
  • Host corporate VIP guided tours and receptions
  • Acquire complete knowledge of Hallmark's history and verbally communicate it to visitors
  • Occassionally work after hours for special events and receptions
  • Resolve and mediate visitor disputes and questions by communicating in a calm and polite way
  • Perform exhibit maintenance checks at the end of each day, including going through the exhibit with a daily maintenance sheet, checking on light bulbs and exhibit pieces, and occassioally cleaning or repairing exhibit displays

This is a part-time, one day per week position during the day. Incumbent must be able to work one or more Saturdays per month.

The following is required to be considered for this role:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1 year of experience working in customer service
  • Ability to consistently walk or move from one location to another
  • Ability to occassionally lift, carry, or transport items from one location to the next
  • Able to work a one day per week schedule, including one or more Saturdays per month
