Hallmark Global provides technical support for a portfolio of technology deployed to support the Greetings organization.  This organization is responsible for identifying and delivering technology strategies and solutions that advance consumer and retail priorities for Hallmark Gold Crown, Hallmark Digital, and Supply Chain.  We play a key role in managing an effective relationship between IT and Greeting partners, as well as helping advance the development and implementation of a multi-year technology roadmap.


The Full Stack Java Developer a motivated, deadline driven individual that develops interactive web sites and back-end applications using HTML, CSS, .Net, Java, PHP or JavaScript. This individual write modular code using industry standard coding practices. Experience with MVC (Model, View, Controller) and MVVM (Model, View, View Model) frameworks is a plus in this individual.



The Full Stack Java Developer role will be part of the global product development team developing and supporting all of the applications in the Product Development portfolio. This analyst will work with the existing team to identify potential capabilities required by our business partners and product owners and identify a potential solution via configuration of standard tools or through development of code. He/she will work to integrate Product Development applications with other Hallmark systems as required and will resolve issues as they arise. This analyst may also lead small projects or work with other project teams as needed.


This is a PROGRESSIVE role that will be filled at the level based on the skills and experience of the selected candidate.  This role can be a REMOTE/VIRTUAL Work Opportunity.  The annual salary range for this job is between $47,594 and $127,058. Salary will take into consideration several factors including location.



  • BS in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related fields, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional programming experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional programming experience with Java 1+ years of professional programming experience with Service-oriented architecture (SOA), microservices, and REST APIs
  • 1+ years of experience with three or more of the following languages/frameworks:
    • React
    • Angular
    • Bootstrap
    • HTML/CSS
    • JavaScript
    •  jQuery




  • Experience building web applications using React or Angular
  • Experience developing applications in both Java and C#/.NET tech stacks
  • Experience developing with JavaScript APIs Experience with IDEs, including but not limited to Eclipse and Visual Studio
  • Experience with Spring framework, including Spring Boot
  • Experience with dependency management and build tools such as Maven, Ant, NuGet etc.
  • Experience with version control systems, such as Git
  • Experience with web APIs, including REST APIs, API management practices, and associated standards such as OData and OAuth
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL datastores including but not limited to Microsoft SQL Server, IBM DB2, and Apache SOLR
  • Experience with agile software development methodology
  • Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD)
  • Experience with unit testing and mocking frameworks, including REST APIs, API management practices, and associated standards such as OData and OAuth
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL datastores including but not limited to Microsoft SQL Server, IBM DB2, and Apache SOLR
