Department Description

Reporting to the Marketing Director, the Marketing Manager-Consumer PR & Influencer Programs, will be responsible for strategic planning, implementation, building and management of the executional team responsible for all influencer relations and consumer-focused public relations efforts. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated background in writing, PR, influencer marketing, and social media. We are looking for a leader with a strategic mindset who is well-organized, energetic, a self-starter, and eager to find new ways to reach our consumer. Our top candidates should have seven+ years of integrated marketing and/or communications experience, including 5+ years of hands-on PR & influencer program management.


Position Description

The Marketing Manager works cross-functionally with other marketing teams to align with the bigger organizational and industry landscape. Proactively lead consumer PR and influencer program strategy including recommendations and subsequent marketing plan development and deployment. Leverage consumer and category insights in meaningful ways with the ability to link short term tasks to overarching marketing strategy. Navigate and determine marketing plan implementation processes that impact Hallmark at a macro level. Present better and new ways of thinking that elevate PR and influencer programs while supporting business goals. Management and accountability for budget planning and program budget allocation in context of marketing objectives. Develop and demonstrate a team culture supportive of a large team. Manage a team of industry professionals executing sound program strategy.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, or Marketing
  • Seven+ years professional experience, in either agency or client-side marketing/public relations


Preferred Qualifications

  • Integrated communications strategy development 
  • Content planning, storytelling and community management 
  • News release writing 
  • Leadership of successful teams including staff development 
  • End-to-end influencer program management 
  • Ability to professionally interact with all levels of the organization
  • Master communicator including, writing and editing skills
  • Excellent presentation and strategic thinking skills
  • Advanced degree
  • Experience using public relations tools, such as Meltwater, etc.
  • Consumer insights research and trend analysis experience
  • Strong understanding of social media tools and platforms
  • Experience creating executive level presentations
  • Relationship-building with media
