Department Description

Visual Merchandising is a fast-paced, results oriented department full of high performing individuals that work collaboratively in teams.  There is an opportunity to work on multiple programs/projects with a variety of Hallmark departments. 


Position Description

The Merchandising Program Leader manages the detailed program development process from pre-concept in Visual Merchandising to delivery and execution at shelf.  S/he is responsible for identifying, assembling and facilitating cross functional teams to coordinate the upfront ideation process to successfully identify program needs, order planning strategies, shipping and field execution requirements, along with developing and managing a comprehensive tactical and execution plan.  S/he is responsible for monitoring schedules, identifying key dates/milestones and ensuring programs are delivered on time, on budget and accurately to enable store level execution.  S/he leads all necessary activities to get programs "through the system" as well as monitoring that the program execution is designed to enable in-store merchandising excellence.  The Merchandising Program Leader is the primary partner with the Visual Merchandising and field service and installation teams to ensure all solutions are developed in a way that leads to effective and efficient execution in store.  The Merchandising Program Leader is accountable for understanding and utilizing a variety of technology and systems (Tableau, Excel, Legacy, Vendor Portals, The Source, SmartLync, etc.) to facilitate and improve end to end processes.

Basic Qualifications

  • BA/BS Degree or 4+ years of work experience (including experience with Account/Project Management)
