Charitable and Crown operates a private trust company that manages a sophisticated investment portfolio, provides trust management, financial reporting, tax compliance and other services for its clients.  Clients include individuals, partnerships, corporations, trusts and private foundations.

The investment team plays a key role in sourcing, selecting, management and oversight of a large, diversified portfolio for various entities.  As part of a highly collaborative investment team, the Portfolio Analyst’s primary responsibility will be assisting the CIO in tracking, analyzing and communicating with external investment managers.  The Portfolio Analyst’s key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Assist in selecting, monitoring and managing external investment managers.
  • Meet with current and potential managers and/or investment consultants to assess opportunities and obtain updates on portfolio developments.
  • Assist with investment reporting needs to clients and organization.
  • Assist with tasks related to direct investments.
  • Collaborate with overall team to resolve issues and meet client needs.

This position reports to the Portfolio Director.

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business or analytical field.
  • 3+ years of investment experience in investment management or a role with investment responsibilities.
  • CFA designation or pursuing CFA designation/MBA or pursuing MBA
  • Professional experience with Microsoft Excel


  • Strong preference for relevant experience with alternative investments (Hedge Funds, Private Equity)
  • Ability to work in professional, high net worth and confidential environment
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics (CRM, NAV, Power BI)
  • Ability to translate complex information into understandable language, and effectively communicate both written and verbally
  • Strong collaboration skills and a track record of successfully partnering to get results
  • Overall positive attitude, drive for results, works autonomously and holds self to a high level of personal leadership and accountability
