ABOUT THE TEAM

Hallmark Digital is one of the driving forces behind the creation and delivery of innovative solutions and experiences to Hallmark’s consumers. We are a team dedicated to optimizing sales, merchandising, marketing, and operations for Hallmark.com. Hallmark Digital includes almost all consumer digital touch points – eCommerce, search, mobile, social, etc. We are a fast-paced, energetic, collaborative group for Hallmark, and have the opportunity to work on many rewarding projects. Digital Hallmarkers get to wear a lot of hats, constantly learn and take on new challenges, and help drive consumer digital experiences in an ever-changing eCommerce environment.

 

ABOUT THE POSITION

The Digital Product Manager leads cross-functional digital product teams that build eCommerce websites and mobile apps. Responsibilities include:

  • Digital Product Strategy Development
    • Develop the product strategy to guide the team's choices and decisions for opportunities to solve to meet Hallmark.com business objectives.
    • Gather and activate insights based on consumer needs working with User Experience professionals and product designers who conduct user research/testing and interpret marketplace/competitive information or third-party research sources.
    • Develop the product road map to align with needed business outcomes and timelines.
    • Actively use data and feedback mechanisms to prioritize what the team builds and determine how it will measure outcomes.
    • Work proactively with key business stakeholders and partners across Hallmark to elicit their key input/expertise so the products the team builds are valid and relevant to the overall business.
  • Digital Product Strategy Delivery
    • Writes and clearly communicates the user stories and requirements based on agreed upon style/format/delivery that drive clarity of product features for the engineering teams.
    • Responsible for successful implementation in collaboration with delivery manager (scrum master) to ensure the product tam delivers on its commitments for each sprint.
  • Digital Product Performance Management
    • Develops and communicates KPIs to measure product performance in collaboration with the product team.
    • Leads results monitoring (e.g. pre-launch measurement needs and post-launch actions) in partnership with squad leads and analytics team.

 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

The following is required to be considered for this role:

  • Bachelor's Degree or 4 years of professional work experience
  • 3 years of digital product management experience delivering e-commerce websites and mobile apps in the retail industry.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience leading digital product teams using agile methodologies
  • Minimum 1 year of experience defining market and product requirements for digital products

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Your resume and portfolio/application will stand out if you have:

  • Demonstrated ability to use data and metrics to justify requirements, build business cases and measure digital product performance
  • 5 years product management or equivalent experience delivering software or digital products to market
  • MBA or advanced degree
  • Retail industry e-commerce experience. Experience outside U.S. markets a plus.
  • Experienced negotiator adept at influencing stakeholders and senior executives. experience
  • Experience using and managing cloud-based collaboration and project management tools including Atlassian suite (JIRA and Confluence

 

The annual salary range for this job is between $110,000 and $150,000. Salary will take into consideration several factors including location.
