OVERVIEW:

The SAP Basis Team is responsible for installing, upgrading, maintaining, tuning, and providing support across all SAP landscapes.

 

THE SR. SAP BASIS ADMINISTRATOR (IT SR TECH ANALYST) IS RESPONSIBLE FOR:

The Sr. Sap Basis Administrator (IT SR Tech Analyst) provides  broad technical support and management of SAP applications and related database systems. This includes configuration, monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting the SAP technical environment on an ongoing basis. As well as planning, management, and execution of major technical SAP projects such as installations, upgrades, enhancements, system conversions, operating system/database migrations and interface implementations. The Analyst creates and maintains up-to-date detailed technical documentation of SAP processes, procedures, and plans, including upgrades and new services. This position serves as a senior technical advisor and consultant for future strategic IT direction of SAP to meet the short and long-term objectives of the business organizations.

 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

The following is required to be considered for this role:

  • Bachelor's Degree or 4 years of professional work experience
  • 5 years SAP Basis experience
  • 3 years of consistent interaction with business partners.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Managing of resources both onshore/offshore
  • Developing, monitoring, and reporting KPI’s
  • SAP Solution Manager and CHARM Configuration
  • SAP PO Configuration
  • SAP LAMA Configuration
  • Building and deploying SAP in the cloud (AWS cloud experience preferred)
  • Knowledge of Linux/HANA SAP environment
  • Willing to state an opinion and apply critical thinking (what, so what, now what)
  • Ability to draw conclusions without complete information
  • Love of learning and the self-motivation to get it
  • Passion for the work
