ABOUT THIS TEAM:

Hallmark CX Marketing team is a highly collaborative and energetic group of marketing professionals focused on delivering a consistent and engaging consumer-led brand experience. Our purpose is to build relevancy and engagement with the Hallmark brand through multiple channels of distribution including mass retail partners, our own Hallmark Gold Crown network as well as through growing digital platforms and solutions. The team is comprised of passionate brand and retail marketers with a desire to inspire and affirm caring consumers to spread more care and joy into our world through greeting cards and specialty gifts.

 

The CX Marketing team is responsible for national brand and mass channel marketing strategies and execution; social media strategy and execution for brand, product segments and Hallmark Gold Crown channels; influencer and consumer public relation efforts; local marketing strategies for Hallmark Gold Crown network; and a best-in-class Crown Rewards loyalty program growth and retention strategies; as well as marketing support for Keepsakes Ornaments, Gift Wrap solutions and other Hallmark product focuses.

 

THE MANAGER, SOCIAL & DIGITAL MARKETING WILL:

The Social & Digital Marketing Manager leads the strategic thought leadership, digital strategy, and develops the strategic marketing frameworks to guide development of Hallmark Brand and Gold Crown Stores Social plans to maximize business performance within a 12-18 month planning horizon. This position is accountable for social marketing that is aligned, linked and transparent with key business partners (internal and external) to enable marketing investment choices that can be assessed and planned with CX marketing leadership within the overall marketing budget; to ensure business goals can be met; and to build credit and support from customer and retail teams.

 

The social marketing manager will be responsible for social marketing strategy to grow sales, increase consumer engagement and acquire emerging consumers. S/he will develop strategies to promote the Hallmark brand, Gold Crown Stores and greetings relevance, showcase Hallmark's portfolio and range, and engage consumers through campaigns and content derived from data-driven insights. S/he will identify the opportunities and platforms within the digital, social and consumer landscape to promote and drive engagement with campaigns, key products, and greetings retail strategies.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

The following is required to be considered for this role:

  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in marketing, advertising, or business with strong quantitative skills.
  • 7+ years of digital or social marketing experience
  • Expertise in social marketing platforms and tools

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Career experience should include 7-10 years in retail, product or consumer marketing including digital and social advertising
  • Management/supervisory experience leading a team of digital or social team members highly preferred
  • Candidate must possess very strong analytical and quantitative skills with demonstrated leadership and project management capabilities
  • Broad strategic thinking and understanding of the consumer and marketplace are required.
  • Must be respected for ability to work collaboratively and across functional areas
