ABOUT THIS TEAM:

Hallmark Digital is the driving force behind the creation and delivery of digital solutions to Hallmark’s consumers. Hallmark Digital includes almost all consumer digital touch points – eCommerce, search, mobile, social, etc. It is a fast-paced, cutting-edge environment and requires agility and a growth mindset. Digital Hallmarkers wear many hats and engage with new and innovative technologies that help shape consumer digital experiences with the Brand on multiple eCommerce platforms around the world.

 

As a member of the Hallmark Digital group, you'll partner with a high-functioning, high-energy team of cross-functional disciplines that manages our Direct to Consumer digital businesses across the globe. With a consumer-first focus, this group delivers best-in-class digital solutions that have a direct impact on shoppers’ engagement with the Hallmark brand across the ever-growing, always changing eCommerce environment.

 

THE DIGITAL ANALYST WILL:

The Senior Digital Analyst will be the point person for our Direct to Consumer eCommerce analytics and ensures stakeholders have access to the product, sales, and shopper insights necessary to drive the best digital experience possible for our Hallmark consumers.

 

The Digital Analyst partners with Operations, Marketing, Content, Product, and IT teams within Hallmark Global to understand the levers that drive our KPIs and utilizes various analytics methods and visualization tools to recommend digital strategy based on trends and forecasts. This role will also partner closely with our Amazon team to understand cross-channel insights and opportunities.

 

This position requires an experienced analytics professional with digital-specific expertise in granular analysis, forecasting, and cross-functional collaboration in an eCommerce retail environment.

 

 

 

Essential duties and accountabilities:

 

  • Uses best practices to develop statistically sound analyses that address business needs by developing reports, uncovering trends, and diagnosing areas of opportunity
  • Manages and maintains database connections/code that feed into front-end visualization tools
  • Ensures integrity of digital channel data across Hallmark systems, partnering internally
  • Develops and monitors various experimentations, analyzes results, and reports findings (with next steps) to business customers
  • Leverages business subject expertise (e.g., Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain, Marketing, Economics, Market Research, etc.) and data to create robust analytical-based solutions 
  • Fully immersed in the data and business strategy to effectively collaborate with the team and improve the effectiveness of business decisions

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

The following is required to be considered for this role:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • At least 4 years in an analytics role
  • Experience with Tableau or other data visualization tools
  • Experience in utilizing relational databases to manage large datasets, with specific ability to use SQL to combine and aggregate multiple tables for use in analysis

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in a technical / quantitative discipline like computer science, software development / engineering, economics, statistics, mathematics, finance, engineering, or other technology / math-based science
  • Experience performing analytics in a SKU-based retail environment, with a preferred focus on eCommerce retail analytics
  • Knowledge of analytics/statistical coding, specifically R and Python
  • Experience with Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, or other web/mobile app analytics solutions
  • Experience with Adobe Experience Cloud (Adobe Launch, Adobe Target) or Salesforce Marketing Cloud solutions
  • A/B/multivariate testing experience
  • Mobile and Omnichannel analytics experience in a retail environment
  • Ability to review data flows and coding to identify, develop, and implement analytics enhancements
  • Strong technical aptitude, including ability and desire to learn new systems and coding
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt work style/processes in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated: strong work ethic, follow-through, and accountability for results
  • Ability to develop effective business partner relationships at all levels of the organization
  • Good interpersonal skills and great communication skills, particularly around complex, technical aspects
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PPT)
