Department Description

Hallmark’s corporate communications team provides value to the business by elevating brand level communication that drives business priorities and helps deliver a distinguished partner and employee experience for all our businesses and brands. We develop strategic communication plans, supported by creative assets and unique events and experiences that engage our audiences, support our business transformation, and help fulfil the promise of our brands.  We’re looking for an internal communication expert to manage executive communication that enables change management and helps drive business results and employee engagement across the Hallmark enterprise.

Position Description

As the Strategic Communications Manager, you will work closely with the director of corporate communications and other business partners to coordinate communication efforts in support of key business priorities across Hallmark, including those in direct alignment to Hallmark’s IT organization. 


Your work will involve

  • Building comprehensive communication strategies, engagement, and execution plans aligned to key priorities that are grounded in communication best practices and a deep understanding of how the business operates 
  • Serving as a strategic communication partner to Hallmark’s Information Technology organization and cross-functional business partners as they accelerate technology transformation across the Hallmark enterprise.  
  • Fostering strong relationships with internal partners and stakeholders to develop clear, consistent, and creative communication, segmented by target audience, that drives strategic business objectives 
  • Overseeing the development of impactful content designed around storytelling principles using brand-right, employee-centric, and inclusive language to personalize the narrative in a way that resonates, is relatable, and captures Hallmark’s unique culture and values 
  • Collaborating and aligning with communication teammates and partners to plan, activate and reinforce priority business messages and campaigns across various employee populations

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in corporate communications


Preferred Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in corporate communications
  • Experience in communication technologies
  • Experience in graphic design
