We are a private trust company within Charitable & Crown that manages a sophisticated investment portfolio, financial reporting, tax compliance and other services for its clients.  Clients include individuals, partnerships, corporations, trusts and private foundations.  We are a fast-paced office with a commitment to providing a consistently excellent client experience.  The Treasury Department coordinates with the trust company staff and our banking partners to manage cash and process all payments. There are always new issues that offer the opportunity to learn.  The Analyst will work with a team of professionals, and learn from a variety of people of varying educational backgrounds including accounting, legal, tax, and investment.  Our Analyst needs to bring energy, a positive attitude and deliver results in a way that everyone says “I want to work with that person!”

 

We are seeking an enthusiastic, skilled analyst to join our growing team.  The Treasury Analyst is for someone with a love of numbers and a keen eye for attention to detail.  Strong communication skills are essential as is your flair to work in a fast-paced environment.   

 

Responsibilities include:


• Conduct Treasury management activities related to daily cash monitoring (supply and transfer of money), maintaining bank accounts, processing payments and deposits, cash reconciliation and provide customer service to other departments in researching and resolving bank related items. 
• Maintain credit portfolio including compliance reporting, payments, loan pricing, renewals and loan applications.
• Work with Bank Vendors to resolve outstanding issue, assisting with processing documents to open or close bank accounts
• Support client needs / ad-hoc internal requests, special projects
• Provide back-up for processing payments and deposits and cash reconciliation
• Evaluate internal controls and business processes to identify process improvements

 

We are a fast-paced office with a commitment to providing a high level of service to all of our clients.  This means you must be able to autonomously organize and prioritize multiple assignments in a changing environment while keeping a positive and professional attitude.  Flexibility must be practiced constantly while coordinating changes across multiple schedules; effective communication between you and the leadership team is essential to maintaining different levels of importance for various tasks.  The work can be very confidential in nature, so consistent good judgment about what can and cannot be shared is essential.  We work with a high degree of collaboration, communication, urgency, and need someone who can multi-task across both projects and maintaining day-to-day activities.   High degree of personal leadership is just as important as your technical, organizational, communication and people skills. We need a self-starter who can stay one-step ahead and help our team succeed.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration or 3+ years professional experience in treasury, cash management, accounting, banking or finance in a corporate or charitable office environment
• Professional MS Office experience (Advanced Excel)

• Strong technical acumen to successfully work in a variety of systems and with a variety of technologies.  Proactively leverages technology to work smarter and produce better results.
• Detail oriented with strong analytical skills. Advanced Excel skills.
• Strong people skills – able to work effectively with a diverse mix of team members 
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Consistently professional in demeanor and communication
• Excellent organizational and prioritizing skills, with ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and accurately manage details while working both independently and with a variety of people.
• High degree of professionalism, including being flexible, calm, positive, discrete, and has the ability to work independently.
• Maintains confidentiality and demonstrates mature judgment about what can be shared.
• Exemplary personal leadership, including a will to win as a team, high level of personal accountability and learning agility.  Must have a positive attitude and be a motivated self-starter.
