AN OVERVIEW:

Hallmark is looking to hire a MuleSoft Developer for our IT Digital Center of Excellence (DCOE) Division.  We are looking for someone to help support and enhance MuleSoft applications while expanding their skills to also learn and start working with AWS Glue.  At Hallmark, our DCOE division is critical to helping Hallmark be successful in a digital marketplace.  We play a leadership role in identifying, developing, and managing technology and process solutions.  We proactively partner with business areas to develop new capabilities, build reliable/scalable solutions, and efficiently manage the corporation’s investment in technology and end-to-end processes.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:

In this position, you will be working on marketing, loyalty, and consumer data related programs from an enterprise perspective. This role will be focused on the design, development and support of real-time data integrations using MuleSoft first and foremost with expansion into AWS Glue.  We work within an Agile Scrum team working in 2-week sprints with standard Agile ceremonies. Your work will directly contribute to the success of Hallmark.com and Gold Crown Stores by enabling new marketing interactions with the consumer.  You will have many opportunities to change and make process improvements to new and existing applications.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

The following is required to be considered for this role:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or 4 years of professional work experience.  
  • 3+ years’ experience developing, troubleshooting, and optimizing Web/API Applications using MuleSoft.
  • 2+ years experience architecting and designing Web/API applications that are performant, scalable, reliable, and reusable.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Your resume will stand out if you have:

  • Prior exposure and/or willingness to immediately learn and utilize AWS Glue integration software.
  • Experience integrating with Informatica MDM planforms
  • Experience integrating to/from an AWS hosted environment (e.g., database, data lake, S3, etc.).
  • Experience integrating with Salesforce solutions
  • Experience integrating with SAP solutions
  • Deep understanding of Web API security practices and principles.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic understanding for network architectures and impacts to Web/API applications (e.g., firewalls, authentication, authorization, load balancers, server setup, VPNs, etc.).
  • Exposure to or familiarity with Azure Dev Ops (e.g., App Insights, Azure Key Vault, SNMP Traps, Ping Authentication).
  • Work collaboratively in an Agile/ Scrum team to plan sprints, expand stories into technical tasks, work on removing impediments, and execute at top velocity.
  • Experience with front-end coding techniques using HTML, JavaScript (React J) jQuery, and Web Forms would be helpful.
  • Successful track record of delivering on projects, both individually and as a team member.
  • Organized and detail-oriented, able to work well under deadlines in a changing environment and perform multiple tasks effectively and concurrently.
  • Strong desire to learn, push the envelope, and share knowledge with others.
