The Greetings Production Facility in Lawrence, Kansas is a fast paced production environment that produces greeting cards. Disciplines within the plant include the Production Team as well as Production Art, Production Planning, Engineering, and Plant and Facilities Maintenance. The Greetings Plant priorities are to exceed our customer’s expectations in timing and quality while significantly reducing cycle times and reducing our total cost of product. A disciplined problem solving approach, using a PDCA/A3 tools, by our engaged leadership team and operators is essential to achieving our lead time and cost reduction targets.


THE ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT to the PRODUCTION DIRECTOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR willingly performs a full range of support duties for the Production Director and key members of the team.  This position will also provide general client support for the entire plant population as well as outside guests, visitors and contractors/vendors.  We are looking for a high performer who thrives in a fast-paced environment.  This position will pro-actively anticipate needs and be able to solve problems before a situation arises.  You will work in an environment where you will leverage technologies to drive efficiencies.  You will be responsible for scheduling meetings and managing calendars.  This includes collaborative interaction with internal and external parties, executives, and members of the Hallmark team.  You will identify and book travel arrangements, complete expense reports, send correspondence, prepare reports, and coordinate and organize plantwide events.

The following is required to be considered for this role:

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • 2 + years of professional administrative experience
  • Must be able to pass a 2010 version of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint testing as part of the interview process (only passing scores in SkillCheck will be considered).
  • Must be able to pass a typing test of 45 adjusted wpm as part of the interview process (only passing scores in SkillCheck will be considered).

  • This position is located in Lawrence, Kansas at the Lawrence Production Center. Relocation is not available.
  • This is a 1st shift position. The work schedule will be 7:00 am – 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday, but flexibility is expected.
  • You must have the ability to and be willing to work overtime as needed
