AN OVERVIEW:

Production Services Manager oversees the development, and scheduling of weekly and daily production plans by flow and ensures this meets the customers' expectations as well as optimizes end-to-end production costs.  The role is responsible for the balancing of internal and external resources to optimize total resources to create and maintain production-ready files and data in legacy and SAP systems.  The Production Services Manager is accountable for the accurate recording of expenses and assets and ensures daily, weekly and monthly reporting.  Facilitates timely decision making throughout the Production Plant.  In addition, the role directs the work of the Plant Systems Manager and partners with IT to ensure the technical needs of the Production Plant are being met.

THE PRODUCTION SERVICES MANAGER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR:

  1. Develops close working relationship with business partners in Creative, Product Integrity, Demand & Inventory Planning, Subsidiaries, Operations Planning, and Product Development to understand the requirements of the Production Plant customers and then ensures those requirements are effectively communicated to the plant leadership.
  2. Identifies, through business partners, opportunities for incremental work for the production plant and the expectations of those customers.
  3. Develops financial plan for the Production Plant. Develops and directs development of reporting to provide clearest picture to plant leadership on performance and opportunities for improvement.
  4. Oversees the development and scheduling of weekly and daily production plans and ensures this meets the customers’ expectations and ensures end-to-end production costs are as low as possible.
  5. Oversees the balancing of internal and external resources to optimize total resources to create and maintain production-ready files and data in legacy and SAP systems. Ensures this is done on-time and on-budget.
  6. Accountable for the accurate recording of expenses and assets and ensures daily, weekly and monthly reporting facilitates timely decision making throughout the Production Plant.
  7. Directs the work of the Plant Systems Manager and partners with IT to ensure the technical needs of the Production Plant are being met.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

The following is required to be considered for this role:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or 4+ years professional work experience in business, finance, or accounting.
  • 7+ years business, supply chain, product and/or finance experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Your resume will stand out if you have:

  • Previous management/supervisory experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate complex situations that involve cost containment, inter-divisional conflict and leadership challenges.
  • MBA or Master's degree in relevant field preferred.
  • Multiple leadership experiences in inventory and/or demand planning across Product Categories, Supply Chain, Retail, Customer Development, Product Management, or Finance beneficial.
  • Positive attitude, high collaboration skills, high emotional intelligence, decisiveness, sense of urgency, holistic thinking capabilities.
  • Core aptitudes include:  Business acumen, financial acumen, leadership/influence, planning and analytical, change management and negotiation.
