The Digital Center of Excellence (DCOE) is the organization within Hallmark Technology that is responsible for:

  • Building a world-class, consumer-focused caring platform that enables the Hallmark Global business to accelerate their direct-to-consumer digital product strategies
  • Developing a Cloud-first, multi-tenant digital platform that provides capabilities and services, such as a unified Hallmark Profile, Product Recommendations, Global Payment services, etc.
  • Building, securing, and operating digital consumer products for the Hallmark Global Business.
  • Scaling development capabilities to build for Hallmark’s future as a member of the DCOE group you'll partner with high functioning, high energy teams of cross-functional disciplines that bring products to market.

 

 

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL

 

As the Care Technical Manager, you will lead the end-to-end technical strategy, solution design and implementation of the Salesforce Core platform in support of our Consumer Care digital experiences. You will lead a dynamic team of Salesforce developers and admins with a keen focus on “clicks vs. code” to create a scalable and sustainable platform. You will partner closely with corporate information security, enterprise architecture, shared services, product managers and delivery managers in architecting solutions to ensure they are compliant with policies and strategies in our dynamic environment.

 

As the leader of the Hallmark Care DevOps team, you will leverage your expertise within the Salesforce Core platform (Service Cloud, chat bots, Communities, telephony integrations) and business processes, apply technical knowledge to solve problems, work with product management and business partners to define solutions and work with consultants, contractors, and on-shore/off-shore resources in accomplishing desired outcomes.

 

 

Basic Qualifications

The following is required to be considered for this role:

 

  • Experience in enterprise-level Salesforce projects using agile software development methodologies throughout the whole life cycle with repeated and demonstrable success. Enforce standards and best practices across the team.
  • Participate in estimation, budgeting and define skill sets and team members needed to deliver upon the prioritized product backlog.
  • Experience providing level of effort estimates for technical portion of solutions.
  • Ability to identify and confirm technical design risks and develop mitigating approaches.
  • Expert level understanding of the Salesforce product suite, including Service Cloud and Community.
  • Experience in documenting current state business processes and wire framing system designs using process flow diagram tools, UML, sequence diagrams, etc. as well as making recommendations for future state improved processes and system designs.
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with different business systems, as well as working with integration tools (ETL, marketing automation, reporting, etc.)
  • Understanding of programming logic and constructs, specifically in Salesforce, Force.com, Apex Code, Visualforce, SOQL, triggers and their use in software development.
  • Expert level understanding of environment management, release management, code versioning best practices, and deployment methodologies
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in Software Development
  • Salesforce Admin Certification
  • Bachelor’s Degree in software engineering or 5+ years of experience in Salesforce Development, Administration, and Leadership

 

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing developers and administrators a huge plus.
  • Experience with Integrating MuleSoft APIs
  • Aura and Lightning Web Component Experience
  • Well-rounded in both functional and technical aspects of a CRM engagement.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Combination of business analysis and technology implementation experience.
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment and be creative within a team.
  • Experience using Salesforce Flow
  • Experience with Gearset or other third-party Salesforce deployment tools
  • Salesforce Platform App Builder Certification
  • Salesforce Service Cloud Certification
  • Salesforce Community Cloud Consultant
  • Salesforce Platform Developer I certifications

 

This is a remote based role with some travel to Kansas City, MO.  The annual salary range for this job, is between $116,250-$193,750.  Salary will take into consideration several factors including location and role level.
